Why does dcuo take so long to update

Global Achievements. I finished the download on steam but now its installing again on the launcher. Physically remove it from the computer and start again. And make sure you haven't anything running in the background that may interfere.

Other than that you could always try downloading from Daybreak Games Website. It also has had around 20 or so chapters added to the game so it will take time. The game may have changed a lot since you last played. As I have no idea what age you are now, lol. Is installation usually this long though whether it be on daybreak games website or steam?

Or could the launcher be capping my download speed? Or is the download usually this long for everybody? The launchpad is simultainously downloading and installing. It is limited by both your connection and hardware. The time of day and your location also plays a role. Steam is not a good idea, because it downloads an old version and the files are downloaded again to be replaced I just want to say sorry for the lengthy post.

I just want to help people having the same issue. I see people just get tired from finding a solution that does not work and decide to not want to play this game again. Nostalgia hit me hard and I want more people to play this game again and use this fix to help them get back in.
