Where is spamalot playing in uk
Thank you. Was my sons 21st Birthday on the 15th when we went to see it. However anyone expecting a big London show will be disappointed. I went to see Spamalot on a hen night and we all laughed so hard because the show was so funny!
Naughty but nice! This show is good but doesn't exactly have much meat on it's bones. The plot and the songs aren't exactly deep but it was a bit of fun. What a jolly show! This show was rather like a naughty pantomime, it was certainly all fun and frolics. As a man of a certain age, I remember Monty Python from my youth which made the experience even better! The show was 2 hours long which I think was the perfect length.
Hilarious, pacey and racy! As a man of a certain age, I remember Monty Python from my youth which made the experience even…. Saw the matinee performance on 9th of March I have previously seen this show a number of times, twice at the Palace Theatre, once when the tour show hit Bromley, and now twice at the Playhouse. Until yesterday I thought the best "king" was Tim Curry but he has been deposed.
Today's performance was the best yet! Totally hilarious and some of the current references were killers. Sides are still aching. Funny, clever and energetic would recommend to anyone. A thoroughly "spirit lifting" experience many thanks to all involved for a wonderful afternoon. Back to Show Details. Reviewed on 06 January by Anonymous. It was great watching them laughing as hard as my brother and I were. An extra bonus was seeing the cast leaving by the stage door.
Thanks for posing for photos with the kids - they were chuffed to bits. Reviewed on 22 December by Anonymous. Reviewed on 17 December by Anonymous. It works - just 12 people on a simple stage; no special effects. It's childish yet perceptive - pure Monty Python making fun of musicals. The Lady of the Lake Songs are sheer brilliance.
Go if you have ever seen a LLoyd Webber show and can laugh at a pantomime. Reviewed on 16 December by Anonymous. The show uplifted the spirits and made us laugh and the references to topical subject were excellent.
Would recommend anyone to see the show as you would definitely feel the better for it. Reviewed on 15 December by Anonymous. Reviewed on 09 December by Anonymous.
It was a spam battered feast from curtain up to finale. I'm going again because I'm sure I missed some jokes from still laughing at the previous. Reviewed on 04 December by Anonymous. Reviewed on 01 December by Anonymous. Spamalot is a must see for any Python fan. It is side splitingly funny from the first act until the curtain comes down. Very entertaining and the choice of theatre is perfect for the show as the feel of the performance could have been lost in a larger venue.
I recommend this show whole heartedly! Reviewed on 28 November by Anonymous. Reviewed on 25 November by Anonymous. The title of the show and the writer speak for themselves no need to review it.
Top show. Reviewed on 24 November by Anonymous. Reviewed on 17 November by Anonymous. Great show but lacked a bit of atmosphere with only 10 rows filled in the whole theatre for a Wednesday evening performance. Reviewed on 11 November by Anonymous. If you like a good laugh, you will love this show for sure! It was fun from the beginning till the end.
Great show and great acting as well. Even though I have never really watched Monty Python, this is not necessary to enjoy the show. I had a great evening and went back home with big fat smile on my face! Reviewed on 07 November by Anonymous. If you like Monty Python humour, you will enjoy this absurd frolic - we laughed a lot! Some bad language so maybe not suitable for younger kids.
Our youngest is 11 which seemed about right. Laughs from the curtains, a real good feel comedy thats suitable for 9 to 99 year olds. Its what comedy theatre is all about. From ans olde Australian Goon adherent - and an avid follower of all things Monty Python my boss lady and I found the show to be of excellent quality, keeping up the traditional erratic weird British humour.

He tried valiantly but all was in vain. However the storyline is so strong it survived his poor deliverely lines and appalling singing.

Spamalot Ice breaker in a daily serious routine of life! So, so, funny! Second time we've been and even better and funnier than the first. Great Show When I first started watching this I had the horrible feeling it was just going to be a load of old python jokes retold but it's so much more.
